A festive open-house style fundraising celebration, Give the Gift of Giving has been designed with families in mind. The event will feature a variety of hands-on activities that will be entertaining and engaging for the whole family. The focus of the day is to provide families the opportunity to make a direct difference in the lives of those in need while having a good time.
You and your family will be able to tour Raphael House and see our work firsthand. We’ll share our vision for helping even more families, introduce to you many time honored Raphael House traditions and share stories of our success. There will be variety of art and craft projects for all ages. You will be able to participate as a family in sponsoring Raphael House residents in both big and small ways from creating holiday care packages, underwriting a week at summer camp, or support an entire family as they move from homelessness to stable housing. And, you can even do some early holiday shopping at a boutique featuring specialty items and gifts.

Raphael House, the first shelter for children and families experiencing homelessness in Northern California, provides an environment of loving support where families are able to move toward brighter and more hopeful futures. The mission of Raphael House is to help at-risk children and their parents achieve stable housing and financial independence, while strengthening family bonds and personal dignity. We provide a spectrum of full family support through various programs, including Residential Services, AfterSchool Tutoring, ChildReach and AfterCare Services where we partner with parents to engage the heart and minds of the whole child as they experience the world around them.
